Born on 3 January 1967 in Tokyo, Japan, she is an actress who trained at the renowned theatre troupe Mumei Juku. After starring in the morning drama series 'Hassai Sensei' (second half of 1987), she has been active in television dramas, stage productions and films. Her family originally ran a tonkatsu restaurant named "Katsuwaka" near their residence in Nerima Ward.
