Winifred Elaine "Wynne" Gibson (July 3, 1898 – May 15, 1987) was an American actress who was most active during the 1930s. She was born in New York City to efficiency expert Frank W. Gibson and authorized Christian Science healer Elaine Coffin Gibson. She began her acting career on stage, performing in the Ritz Girls show and as a member of Frederick Santley's Melody Maids and Ray Raymond's Melody Charmers. Gibson's first film credit was in Paramount's talkie Nothing But the Truth (1929). She went on to appear in approximately fifty films between 1929 and 1956, many of them B movies. Gibson h…
