Richard Van Vleet, also sometimes credited as Richard Van Fleet or Rick Van Vleet is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and director. He played the role of Dr. Chuck Tyler on All My Children from 1975 to 1984, from 1989 to 1992, and again in 1995 and 2005; and as Dr. Ed Bauer on Guiding Light from 1984 to 1986. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Van Vleet had numerous guest starring roles on some of the most popular prime time series at the time, such as Mannix, Cannon, Marcus Welby, M.D., McCloud, Adam-12, Dragnet, The Virginian, and Ironside.
