Çetin Tekindor graduated from Ankara State Conservatory in 1970. He made his theatrical debut with the play "IV. Murat". He taught "Stage and Diction" at Hacettepe University State Conservatory, and later continued this role at Bilkent University's Theatre Department until 1998. He gained wider recognition for voicing the character of Police Chief Stewart McMillan, played by Rock Hudson, in the TRT television series "McMillan and Wife" which aired from 1976-1977.
