Aleksandr Nikolaevich Baranov (Kazakh: Александр Николаевич Баранов; born March 20, 1955; Alma-Ata) is a Soviet, Kazakh and Russian film director, screenwriter and producer. In 1985 he graduated from the script Department of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov. In 1985, he acted as a screenwriter for the film "Who are you, Horseman?". For the newsreel, Yeralash created 3 plots. His first directorial work was "Three" (1988) in collaboration with Bakhyt Kilibayev. The film was awarded four grand Prix of the festivals "Debut", "Youth" and "Constellation"…
