Born in Besançon, Franche-Comté, France to a family of industrial labourers, Augé showed interest in fine arts from an early age. His initial career was as a graphic designer, under the pseudonym "Gaspirator". In his work, Augé adopted a retro-futurist style. This caught the attention of French musician Surkin, for whom he designed several album covers. Augé's musical pursuits began with his cousin Théo Vuarnet, under the name "Microloisir".
