​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Christien Tinsley (born in 1974) is a make-up artist. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Makeup for his work in The Passion of the Christ (2004). He won an Academy Award for Technical Achievement in 2008 "for the creation of the transfer techniques for creating and applying 2D and 3D makeup known as Tinsley Transfers". He won the Indian Film Academy Award in 2010 for best make up for the 2009 Bollywood film Paa.
