Charles-Olivier Michaud (born November 11th, 1979) is a French-Canadian author, photographer, writer and movie director. His first feature film 'Neige et Cendres' (Snow and Ashes) released in 2010, won Best Film Awards at multiple festivals. Since then, he directed and wrote: 'Sur le Rythme' (On the Rythm) in 2011, Exil in 2013, 4 Minute Miles in 2014, and Anna in 2015 -- he also directed episodes of TV shows like 'M'entends-tu?' (Do you Hear Me?) and 'Boomerang'. In 2023, he directed 'Ru' - an adaptation of Kim Thuy's international bestseller novel of the same name.
