Hiroshi Hamasaki (浜崎 博嗣, Hiroshi Hamasaki, born December 30, 1959) is an animator, character designer, and anime director from Fukuoka, Japan. After finishing high school, he joined the training program of Tatsunoko Production, where he began his career as an animator. His early work included animation duties on Gatchaman II and several other series from the early 1980s. By the mid‑1980s he had moved into higher‑level roles such as animation director and character designer on titles like Alpen Rose and Outlanders.
