Shawn Wayne Hatosy (born December 29, 1975) is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Dr. Jack Abbot in the medical drama series The Pitt (2025–present) for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. He is also well known for his roles as Detective Sammy Bryant in the crime drama series Southland (2009–2013), and Andrew "Pope" Cody in the crime drama series Animal Kingdom (2016–2022).
