David James Gandy (born February 19, 1980, in Billericay, Essex, England) is a British male model. He grew up in a working-class family in Essex. His career began after winning a modeling competition on a television show. For several years, Gandy was the face of the Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana, who used him for their campaigns and fashion shows.
