Krystyna Kulczycka – animator, director of animated films and series. Born in 1938. Since 1963, she has been professionally associated with the Se-Ma-For Small Film Forms Studio in Łódź. She has worked on such animated series as "The Magic Pencil" (1963-1977), "The Adventures of Teddy Bear with an Ear" (1975-1987), "The Three Bears" (1982-1986), and "Chestnuts" (1990-1997). She directed individual episodes of the series "Moomin Stories" (1977-1982) as well as the films "Moomin Days" (1983) and "Winter in Moominvalley" (1986), based on the books by Tove Jansson.
