Michel Field (born 17 July 1954) is a French journalist, television presenter, philosopher and novelist. He is the author of several novels. He served as the political director of France Télévisions. Michel Field was born as Michel Feldschuh on July 17, 1954 in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, Vaucluse, France. His father, Erwin Feldschuh, was an Austrian Jew who emigrated to France. Field was educated at the Lycée Claude Bernard, the Lycée Balzac, and the Lycée Condorcet.
