Julian Richings (born 30 August 1956) is a British-Canadian character actor. Richings has appeared in over 225 films and television series. He trained in drama at the University of Exeter and worked as an actor for several years in the United Kingdom before moving to Toronto in 1984. In the popular series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil he played the dual characters of the Hooded Leader and Atticus Murphy Senior. When not on screen, Richings is a busy stage actor.
