Luisa Huertas is an actress of Salvadoran and Mexican nationality, born on June 24, 1951, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Born to a Spanish refugee father and a Mexican businesswoman mother, Luisa was trained at the Escuela de Arte Teatral del INBA and the Centro Universitario de Teatro CUT-UNAM, two of Mexico's most respected institutions. She spent part of the 1970s in film and was also known for her role as Rosita in the children's series Sesame Street, before beginning her remarkable career in Mexican television, in several of the most popular and recognized telenovelas, including Dulce Desa…
