Amanda Pernilla Oljelund, born October 9, 1962, in Västerleds parish, Stockholm county, is a Swedish screenwriter for film and TV, journalist, and children's and youth book author. After studying literature, political science, and journalism at Stockholm University, she was active as a journalist during the years 1983–90, mostly as a feature journalist and columnist at Svenska Dagbladet. Oljelund has been a full-time writer since 1994. She writes mainly for film and TV, for adults as well as for children and adolescents.
