Maceo Smedley was born on February 7, 2007 in Houston,TX. During the summer of 2012, at the tender age of five, Maceo signed with Pastorini Bosby Talent, and booked his first national commercial in October that same year. Shortly thereafter, Maceo became a very familiar face appearing in commercials locally and nationwide. In 2015 Maceo caught the eye of casting directors for WGN America's Underground where he worked alongside Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Aldis Hodge.
