Marcus Eyre (14 March 1957 - 4 February 2015) was an English-born Australian actor who had a talent for story-telling, entertaining skills that proved valuable when he began teaching in later years. Born in Sussex, England, Eyre moved with his family to Adelaide in 1960 and his acting career started at school. Armed with his degree in drama and education, he spent three years teaching in Darwin, travelling all over the Northern Territory with regular stints acting with the Brown's Mart Theatre. Eyre died on 4 February 2015 from cancer at aged 57.
