Lena Andersson, born April 11, 1955, in Fritsla, Västergötland, is a Swedish singer who rose to fame as a teenager. She was discovered at the age of 15 by Stikkan Anderson after submitting her own songs to a radio show. Her debut album Lena 15 was released in 1971, and she had her breakthrough with the hit song "Är det konstigt att man längtar bort nån gång" ("Is It Strange to Long for Something Else Sometimes"). During the 1970s, she enjoyed several successes, participated twice in Melodifestivalen (in 1972 and 1977), and collaborated with artists such as Ted Gärdestad and members of ABBA. S…
