Eddie Applegate (October 4, 1935 – October 17, 2016, Height 5 feet 9 inches [1.75 m]) was an American television actor, best known for his work in the 1960s, most notably in the role of Richard Harrison, the boyfriend of Patty Lane on The Patty Duke Show. He was born in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. Applegate began his acting career in the early 1960s, appearing in guest roles on such television series as The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. In 1963, he was cast as Richard Harrison on The Patty Duke Show, a popular sitcom about a teenage girl with a split personality. …
