Carlos Algara graduated with a B.A. from The Technological Institute of Higher Education of Monterrey, Mexico. His first short film, The Intruder (2010), was released at the 13th Shanghai Int. Film Festival. It was also selected at the 41st Int. Film Festival of India and was awarded the "Silver Goat" at the 6th Monterrey Int. Film Festival.
