Vasia Trifilli (Athens, 31 May 1943[2]) is a Greek comedic actress. Her real name is Vasiliki Eleftheriou, She is originally from Athens (Plaka) on her father's side and from Kythnos on her mother's side.[2] She studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre (1969). Her first appearance was with the troupe of Kostas Voutsas - Maros Kontos - Nikos Rizos (1969 - 1970). She made her film debut in 1970 with the film The Teacher Was a Fool.
