Junpei Matsumoto is a Japanese producer, director, and screenwriter from Nagasaki Prefecture. He made his directorial debut with "Mada, Ningen" (まだ、人間). He is also a published author, with his first novel being "Planets" (惑星たち), and a producer for the anime "Shadowverse" and "Shadowverse Flame." He graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo for undergraduate and graduate education. During his studies, he was a student of Yoshimoto Sogo Performing Academy Tokyo School with the intention of becoming a comedian.
