Liana Orfanou was born in 1932 in Thessaloniki and studied at the drama school of the Greek and National conservatories (Mihali Kounelaki and Thanou Traga, respectively). In 1952 she made her theatrical debut in the revue, "Star Hellas". Afterwards, he played in many reviews: "The Song of Athens", "Carnation in the Ear", "Coca Cola" etc. In 1955 she participated in beauty pageants and on June 18, 1956 she enrolled in S.E.H.
