She was known for her first debut role in Mekanik (1983) directed by Othman Hafsham where she was nominated as the Best Supporting Actress at the 4th Malaysian Film Festival(FFM).She would continue to being nominated and won the award for her performance as the lead chief editor, Anita in Femina(1994).
