Maki Taichiro, better known by his ring name Taichi, is a Japanese professional wrestler who debuted in 2002 for All Japan Pro Wrestling. He is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he made his G1 Climax debut in 2019 and is a three-time King of Pro-Wrestling Champion, four-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, two-time NEVER Openweight Champion, and two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. He has also held titles outside NJPW, including one reign as GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH and one reign as CMLL World Trios Champion in Mexico.
