Carolyn Dunn is a Canadian actress who is best known for her role as Sylvie Gerard in the television series Tropical Heat. She was born in Whitney Pier, Nova Scotia, Canada, on March 18, 1961. She began her acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in several television movies and miniseries. In 1985, she starred in the Canadian comedy series Head Office. Dunn's breakthrough role came in 1989, when she was cast as Sylvie Gerard in Tropical Heat.
