James Joshua Blake was born and raised in Taranaki, New Zealand. After studying Film and Media in Wellington he took up acting and quickly fell in love with it. Over the years James has starred in several productions, some of these include Zakk in Deathgasm (2015), Shotover in Top of the Lake (2013) a featured extra and Thorin Oakenshield's body double in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: Trilogy (2012- 2014) With other credits in commercials James has the ability to turn his hand to a variety of different roles.
