Charles Officer (1975 – 2023) was a Canadian film and television director, writer, actor, and professional hockey player. His diverse career encompassed graphic design, acting on stage and screen, and eventually directing. His debut short film, "When Morning Comes," premiered at the 2000 Toronto International Film Festival to widespread acclaim.
