Timothy Hines is an American film director, writer and producer. He directed the movie War of the Worlds The True Story, a picture that played in theaters across the United States and at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 in Pasadena for an Oscar qualifying run. Hines' movie received a rave review in the Los Angeles Times and qualified for the 85th Oscar race. The picture was the second outing for Hines at War of the Worlds.
